MacFin is a small Glasgow based brand creating clothing that is playful, individual, long-lasting and environmentally low impact. MacFin garments are made using second-hand, leftover and deadstock fabrics, often combined with bespoke dyed, printed or stitched textiles.
Designer/maker Molly MacDonell Finlayson has a background in costume for stage and screen and a love of textile experimentation. She draws heavily on influences from costume and textiles across history and culture, her childhood dressing-up box and the colours, patterns and textures of Scottish landscapes, flora and fauna. MacFin garments come from a love of materials, a love of clothes and the myriad possibilities they offer.
Currently available to buy on the MacFin website are pieces from two collections: the Twelfth Night Collection and the Collection Collection. Please get in touch if you have a bespoke commission in mind.
